Empty Bowl will be bringing out my next book of poems on August 1. Friend Mike O’Connor (RIP) first told me about EB in 2009, when he was editing for them and running the press. The imprint has historically supported works related to Chinese poet masters and Buddhist texts. I will be their first Asian American author and could not be more excited. Painter April Gornik lent the cover image and Lauren Grosskopf of Pleasure Boat Studios designed this early draft of the cover.
