Speaking on poetry and the visual arts at NAEA in a couple of weeks.
I’m reading at Elliott Bay on Saturday with Prageeta Sharma and Tina Schumann.
Thanks to Seattle Review of Books for the shout-out!
I’m deeply excited to have signed a contract with Entre Rios Books for a new collection of work that will include poems, public art projects, past book arts projects, interpretive essays and other works. Grateful to be publishing with a Seattle-based publisher and working with local partners to bring this project to fruition. Thanks also to Seattle’s Office of Arts & Culture for an unexpected grant to support finishing this book.
Thanks to Tim Gruver and the International Examiner for this coverage of the end of my two-year term with the City of Redmond.
Thanks to Scott Keva James for capturing this moment.
From last night’s video projection of “heyday” on the back of City Hall, City of Redmond.
Here’s what premiered at Redmond Lights last night…
Thank you to Cleo Barnett for suggesting an animation. Thank you to Tiffany Lin for introducing me to designer Michael Barakat. And thank you to Michael for bringing this poem to life. And to the City of Redmond for your terrific support these past two years… see the whole thing on Saturday, December 2, from 4-8 pm on the back side of City Hall.
